Sobitha Yuhendran

Vice President, Project Management Office

Sobitha Yuhendran brings over 16 years of expertise to the Citizen Care Health Solutions team as Vice President, Project Management Office. With multiple successive cross-continental roles, Sobitha has served in the public health sector, government health sector, and startup businesses, successfully leading multiple complex and high-stakes projects.

Prior to joining CCHS, Sobitha has delivered on multiple global initiatives in the health and IT sectors, and for high-visibility government clients.

With an innovative approach, Sobitha continues to be a lifelong learner who enjoys finding solutions to every challenge.

Sobitha has a Bachelor of Medical Science from the University of Sydney and an Executive MBA from the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa.

Todd Richardson

Todd Richardson is the Vice President of Sales at Citizen Care Health Solutions (CCHS). With extensive leadership experience in sales and marketing within digital health, pharmaceuticals and consumer healthcare verticals, Todd brings with him a deep knowledge of virtual care, patient flow, operational visibility and patient journey optimization.

Prior to joining CCHS, Todd held leadership roles at Amwell, Ontario Telemedicine Network, VitalHub and GlaxoSmithKline. Together, his experience and entrepreneurial spirit has shaped him into a strategic revenue leader with demonstrated success at building and leading high-performing sales teams across various sized organizations – from start ups to international businesses.

Todd considers himself an advocate for healthcare innovation, and he’s driven by the transformational impact digital solutions can have on patients, providers and healthcare organizations. Todd holds a degree in Management Economics from the University of Guelph.

Dani DePetrillo

COO, Right At Home Canada

Ms. DePetrillo joined Right at Home as Vice President of Health Care Services in 2012. She came with over fifteen years of operational and managerial experience in the healthcare field. Previous to joining Right at Home, she owned and operated a series of interdisciplinary health and wellness centres as a Regional Joint Venture Partner and Regional Manager with one of Canada’s largest health care companies from 1997 to December 2011. Her experience focused on new client start-up, clinical program development, client service, human resources management, training and fiscal operations.

In addition, Ms. DePetrillo also was Director of Operations for CAREpath Inc., a cancer assistance program offering nurse navigation and cancer support services to over 350,000 Canadians. Ms. DePetrillo was a Right at Home Care Office owner from 2013 – 2016, holding all key positions within the business. She assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer in October 2016, and continues to hold a key role in supporting new Care Office owners joining the Right at Home system.

Zenon Radewych

Principal, WZMH Architects

Zenon is a Principal at WZMH Architects in Toronto, Canada where he is the lead in the following sectors: mission critical buildings, prefabrication and off-site construction and research and innovation in smart buildings with a focus on low-voltage and IoT solutions.

In the past year, Zenon co-founded Citizen Care Health Solutions where he was instrumental in developing the mobile and portable smart screening and testing pods for Covid-19. Zenon’s day to day focus is on developing new cost-effective infrastructure solutions for mobile testing and the administering of the vaccine for Covid-19 (quick setup and take-down installations).

Ankush Gakhar

Director, Products

Ankush Gakhar is a highly versatile professional with experience in product management, consulting, and mergers and acquisitions.

Ankush has held roles in management consulting with Stem Capital, where he was involved in advising large public and private corporations on their technology transformation strategies. His experience also spans early to mid-stage startups, advising on go-to-market strategies. In his role as Product Management at Medcan, a health & wellness clinic in Toronto, Ankush was accountable for the company’s Membership Portfolio. While there, Ankush spearheaded a number of product development initiatives in the primary-to-ongoing care spectrums.

Ankush’s wealth of experience in M&A includes investment banking and private equity funds. Together with his entrepreneurial zest, Ankush has an unshakeable spirit, creating and enhancing the value that CCHS brings to its clients.

Nirmal Purohit

VP, Technology

Nirmal Purohit is the Vice President of Technology at Citizen Care Health Solutions (CCHS). He brings more than 20 years of technology management experience, and is responsible for leading technology strategy, software engineering and delivery of its healthcare platforms. Nirmal is a technology executive with experience in enhancing customer experience, driving cost efficiency, modernizing architecture, and reducing risks.

Before joining CCHS, Nirmal Purohit held leadership positions at Symcor, ADGA Group and LTI, where he led several strategic transformation initiatives such as cloud migration, legacy modernization, process automation, and portfolio rationalization. As a senior manager at Infosys, he designed and developed enterprise software systems for several Fortune 500 organizations across the globe.

Nirmal Purohit holds an MBA from Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, where he received Gold Medal and scholarship for his academic achievements. He has completed his Bachelor of Computer Engineering from India.

Jason Percy

VP, Marketing

Jason Percy is the Vice President of Marketing at Citizen Care Health Solutions (CCHS). He brings more than a decade of healthcare marketing leadership, with experience spanning digital health, home health, mental health, rehab and pharmaceutical marketing. Jason thrives on bringing a patient-centric view to organizations to deliver exceptional patient experiences.

Before joining CCHS, Jason Percy held leadership roles at HealthHub Patient Engagement Solutions and CBI Health Group, one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies, leading brand development, innovation, go-to-market strategy and digital marketing. Jason also held progressive roles in several digital marketing agencies, including Bond Brand Loyalty, where he was responsible for launching numerous products in optometry and pharmaceuticals.

Jason Percy holds a BA in Marketing and Political Science from York University in Toronto.

Preet Khalsa

Chief Innovation Officer

Preet Khalsa brings over 20 years of innovation to the Citizen Care Health Solutions team. With roles in strategic leadership, he leads our Product and Development teams to achieve the CCHS vision.

Prior to joining CCHS, Preet held the role of CTO at a number of startups, leading development from concept to commercialization. His most recent role was Vice President of Technology at Teladoc Health, where he guided the company from startup to over $2 billion in revenue and more than 4,000 employees.

Preet holds a Bachelor of Mathematics (Honours in Computer Science) from the University of Waterloo.

Dr. Mostafa Shaheen

Chief Operating Officer

Dr. Mostafa Shaheen is Citizen Care Health Solutions’ (CCHS) Chief Operating Officer (COO). Bringing more than 20 years of healthcare industry experience to his role at CCHS, he leads operational excellence, strategic partnerships, marketing and business expansion strategy. Dr. Mostafa is a clinician who has dedicated his career to providing integrated healthcare delivery models, empowering patients to achieve better health outcomes.

Before joining CCHS, Dr. Mostafa was a member of the senior leadership team member of ClaimSecure, a subsidiary of Canada Life, where he led Risk & Analytics, managing the company’s growth and product expansion. Dr. Mostafa was also formerly the Global Head of Healthcare Services and Operations for AXA Group, a leading multinational insurer. Under his strategic leadership, he led AXA Group’s healthcare transformation program globally.

Dr. Mostafa holds an MBA from Manchester Business School with honors and Executive Masters in International Healthcare Leadership with honors from McGill University.

Carl Demarco

Chairman and CEO

Carl Demarco is Chairman and CEO of Citizen Care Health Solutions™, and is also Chairman and CEO of Camillion Corp., a media entertainment company with interests in the technology/innovation sector. Previously, Carl served as President, Global Business Development at World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), and before that as President of WWE Canada.

In the past year, Carl co-founded Citizen Care Health Solutions with a goal to provide smart screening and testing pods for Covid-19. The initial concept was developed for the construction industry but very quickly grew to include all industries with a focus on high volume testing. Carl was instrumental in creating a team of experts from all fields: design, construction, laboratory expertise, nursing and digital applications. Carl’s focus over the past year has been in the development of a secure digital platform that is designed to cover all aspects of Covid-19 testing, contact tracing and vaccination.
